An established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production operations in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for a motivated leader who is committed to safety, quality, employee development, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule hourly production employees.
- Ensure daily safety, quality, housekeeping, and production goals are achieved.
- Verify that equipment, materials, and resources are available for efficient and safe operations.
- Oversee production, quality, safety, cost control, and employee relations.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework is preferred.
- Experience working in a union environment is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and commitment to achieving operational goals.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Typically 40–45 hours per week, with overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, reach, and use hands throughout the workday.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees across all departments.
- Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- Close attention to detail and the ability to safely perform work requiring visual focus and coordination.
