Summary:
Operates Graco ProMix 2KE proportioner and manual spray-painting equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to the following:
- Applies coatings (Primer/Topcoat) to frames, operators, gates, stock parts, and other accessories per work order
- Thoroughly cleans spraying equipment with proper cleaning agents when finished spraying
- Fills all pressure pots when needed to ensure continuous painting
- Changes booth filters on a regular basis • Assists the Paint Prep Technician when needed
- Follows daily / weekly department schedule to ensure proper products are coated
- Maintains good general housekeeping, a clean and safe work environment free of open containers, wiping rags, empty paint cans, etc.
- Ensures quality inspections are complete before product leave the booth
- Follows all HazMat policies per training received
- Assists with quarterly booth maintenance around production needs.
- Follows all safety rules for the Paint Department

- Responsible for tracking and logging all primer, paint and thinner used within the department
